Overview

Southeast University is a comprehensive research university located in Nanjing, China. It is one of the national key universities directly affiliated with the Ministry of Education of China. History

Southeast University (SEU) has a rich history that can be traced back to the establishment of Sanjiang Normal School in 1902. Over the years, it has undergone many transformations, including various mergers and name changes, before finally becoming Southeast University in 2000. Today, it is among the top universities in China and the world.

Organization

SEU is organized into 34 colleges and schools, covering a wide range of disciplines such as science, engineering, medicine, humanities, law, and economics. It also has over 70 research institutes and centers. The university has a staff of over 5,000, including around 2,000 full-time faculty members.

Campus

SEU has three campuses in Nanjing, covering a total area of over 4,000,000 square meters. The main campus is located in the heart of the city and covers an area of 200 hectares. It is home to most of the colleges and schools, as well as administrative buildings, research institutes, and dormitories. The other two campuses are located in Xianlin and Dingjiaqiao, respectively.
