Career and Achievements
After college, Feld started working for his father’s company, Concert Productions, Inc. (CPI). He eventually became the company’s president, overseeing tours for musicians like Michael Jackson and The Rolling Stones. In 1984, Feld Entertainment was founded, and Kenneth became its CEO. The company’s first production was “Disney On Ice,” which featured Disney characters skating on ice.
Under Feld’s leadership, the company has grown to produce multiple live entertainment brands, including Monster Jam, Marvel Universe LIVE!, and Sesame Street Live. In 2014, Feld Entertainment signed a ten-year deal with Hasbro to produce live shows featuring their brands like My Little Pony and Transformers.
Feld is also a co-owner of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, which ran from 1919 until its final performance in 2017. He faced criticism from animal rights activists for the circus’s use of animals and eventually decided to phase them out of the show.
