Mu Rongjun is a Chinese business magnate, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is best known as the founder and CEO of the Zhejiang Supor Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of household appliances in China. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its operations globally and has become one of the top producers of pressure cookers, rice cookers, and other kitchen appliances in the world. As of 2021, Mu Rongjun is ranked among the top 100 richest people in China with a net worth of over $4 billion.

Early Life and Education

Mu Rongjun was born in 1968 in Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province, China. He grew up in a farming family and had to work hard during his childhood to help his parents. Despite the challenges, he was a bright student and was able to secure a spot at the Zhejiang University of Technology, where he studied mechanical engineering.

After completing his degree, Mu Rongjun worked as a technician in a mechanical factory, where he gained valuable experience in the manufacturing industry. He then went on to pursue an MBA from Zhejiang University, which helped him develop his business acumen.

Career and Achievements

Mu Rongjun began his career in the early 1990s, working for a number of small-scale manufacturing companies in Zhejiang Province. In 1994, he founded Zhejiang Supor Co. Ltd with three other partners. The company started out as a small kitchenware factory, producing low-cost pressure cookers and other kitchen appliances.

Despite the fierce competition in the market, Mu Rongjun was able to implement innovative strategies that helped Supor grow rapidly. He introduced new product lines, improved the quality of his products, and invested heavily in research and development.

As a result of these efforts, Supor quickly became one of the most successful kitchen appliance manufacturers in China. In 2005, the company went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and its stock price soared. Today, Supor is an international brand, with operations in more than 40 countries around the world.

Mu Rongjun’s achievements have not gone unnoticed. He has been recognized with numerous awards for his contributions to the manufacturing industry, including the China Brand Award and the Best CEO Award. He is also a member of the National People’s Congress, China’s top legislative body.
