Glenn Dubin was born on April 13, 1957, in Washington Heights, New York City. His parents, William Dubin and Edna Dubin, were both schoolteachers. Glenn grew up in a Jewish family and attended the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, Tennessee. He later attended the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, where he was a star athlete and captain of the football and wrestling teams.

After high school, Glenn Dubin attended Tufts University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. He then went on to earn an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1984.

Career and Achievements

After completing his MBA, Glenn Dubin began his career as a trading analyst at the investment bank, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. In 1986, he joined the investment firm, Goldman Sachs, where he became a top trader and investor. In 1992, he co-founded the hedge fund, Highbridge Capital Management, with childhood friend, Henry Swieca. The firm grew rapidly and, in 2004, it was acquired by JP Morgan Chase for $1.3 billion.

After the acquisition of Highbridge Capital Management, Glenn Dubin became an advisor to JP Morgan Chase and continued to invest in various hedge funds and private equity firms. He also founded his own investment firm, Dubin & Co., which manages his personal wealth and investments.

Aside from his huge success in the financial industry, Glenn Dubin is also known for his extensive philanthropic work. He has donated millions of dollars to various charitable causes, including healthcare, education, and the arts. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to fighting poverty in New York City.

Personal Life

Glenn Dubin has been married twice. He was first married to Eva Andersson, a Swedish model, with whom he has two children. In 1994, he married Dr. Eva Dubin, a radiologist and cancer researcher. Together they have two children.

In 2019, Glenn Dubin was linked to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. He has denied any involvement with Epstein’s alleged crimes and has cooperated fully with authorities investigating the case.
