In 1987, Cen Junda began his career in the beauty industry working as a salesperson for a cosmetics company. He quickly realized that there was a demand for high-quality, affordable beauty products in China, and set out to create his own brand.
In 2001, he founded Jala Group, which owns the brand Chando. Today, Chando is one of the most popular cosmetics brands in China, offering a wide range of skincare and makeup products.
Cen Junda’s success has not gone unnoticed. In 2015, he was named one of Forbes’ 100 Richest Chinese Businesspeople.
Personal Life
Cen Junda is married and has two children. Outside of his business ventures, he is known for his philanthropy. In 2016, he donated $30 million dollars to his alma mater, the Weifang Vocational College, to build a new campus.
