Career and Achievements

After completing his MBA, Cook began his career at IBM, where he spent 12 years in various management positions. In 1994, he joined Compaq Computer as Vice President of Corporate Materials, and he was responsible for managing the company’s worldwide procurement and supply chain operations. Cook joined Apple in 1998, initially as Senior Vice President for Worldwide Operations. He quickly rose through the ranks and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2005.

Cook became CEO of Apple in 2011, succeeding the late Steve Jobs. Since then, he has overseen some of the company’s most significant milestones, including the launch of the iPhone, the iPad, and the Apple Watch.
